“Colin has been involved with Team Tarka since 2007. He has helped us to develop and promote both our regional coaching programmes, and the AEGON GB Pro-Series Barnstaple (formerly the Barnstaple Open).

Colin was a key factor in its creation, promotion and growth. He has also established and developed excellent media relations with the regional and national TV networks, and other media partners, that have helped to put the event on the world’s tennis stage.

At Tarka we host what is in many people’s, and player’s minds, the best run and promoted Pro-Series event in the country - and with pretty much no budget! The fundraising, branding and wide-reaching media exposure of the tournament is largely down to Colin’s enthusiasm and expertise in this area.

Our tournament has now been used as the template for other LTA events that have subsequently been developed over the past four years. A lot of the credit has to go to Colin, who has not only worked tirelessly before the event, but also during the event to create what is a major tournament atmosphere and experience both on and off the courts.

His marketing, promotional knowledge and unwavering commitment to create the best tournament possible has put us at the top of all the GB Pro-Series tournaments. Our event is truly out there with a world-wide
tennis audience - and we are only a small town in North Devon!”
